FREE Home Sustainability Assessment
Creating Building Solutions is now offering Home Sustainability Assessments to help home-owners identify and improve the sustainability of their homes. This is part of the Government's Green Loans Program to help you and your family save energy and water, to improve your home and to reduce greenhouse gases. What is a Home Sustainability Assessment?
A qualified assessor will visit your home, look at how you can improve your energy and water efficiency and provide a report to you. The assessment report will help you reduce greenhouse gases, create a healthier and greener home, and save money on your electricity, gas and water bills!
It will also explain the interest-free Green Loans available to assist you purchase energy efficient appliances and save further money. The program provides incentives for you to install solar, water saving, and energy efficient products.
Home assessments reports are valid for six months from the date they are submitted for the purpose of applying for the Green Loans.
What is the Green Loans Program?
The Green Loans Program is a new Australian Government initiative to help Australians tackle climate change by increasing the energy and water efficiency of existing homes. The program aims to assist families to install solar, water saving, and energy efficient products.
The dwelling being assessed must have been completed and occupied for at least 12 months.
How do I get a free assessment report?
Give Creating Building Solutions' qualified assessor permission to book an assessment on your behalf. We will then visit your home and provide a detailed free report on things that you can do to reduce your energy use, to increase the comfort of your home and to reduce carbon pollution and greenhouse gases.
The Home Sustainability Assessment has a nominal value of $250 but is free to the Household as it is fully subsidised by the Australian Government. No fee should be paid by you to CBS for the assessment.

What does your FREE Home Sustainability Assessment give you?
- A detailed assessment report, based on the results of an inspection of your home, will provide advice on overall energy and water use. It will include assessments of your heating, lighting, refrigeration, cooking, entertainment, outdoor water use and waste management practices.
- An option to request an interest-free Green Loan of up to $10,000 (for a maximum of four years) to make the changes recommended in the assessment.
- Advice on how to save money on your water, gas and electricity bills.
- Information on other Government rebates available to you.
- A greener living environment to give you long-term peace of mind.
